It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellis Henry Williams Townsend (Wallace, North Carolina), who passed away on June 4, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Trudy Williams Futch. She is survived by: her husband Wilton Francis Townsend; her daughters, Kaye Jackson (Andy) of Cary, NC and Carol McGinnis (Steve) of Rocky Point, NC; her grandchildren, Kelly Hunter (Todd) of Beulaville, Heath Carter of Sacramento, CA, Jonathan Jackson and Nicholas Jackson of Cary; her great grandchild Jackson Hunter of Beulaville; and also Wallace Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Wallace United Methodist Church.
