With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Virginia Futrell of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Clint Morris; her husband Elwood Futrell; her daughter Helen Pittman; and her siblings, Raymond Horrell, Samuel Horrell, Hugh Horrell, Daniel Horrell, Tom Horrell, Thelma Blanton, Lola Brinkley and LeRoy Horrell.
She is survived by: her children, James C. "J. C." Lanier (Shelby) of Rose Hill and Linda Lanier of Wallace; her grandchildren, Tony Pittman, Terry Pittman, Teresa Outlaw, Alisa Godlock, Amanda Smith and Jim Smith; her great grandchildren, Jamison Outlaw, Leslie Outlaw, Mariah Schroeder, Mathew Bracken, Katelynn Pittman, Karlee Pittman, Logan Pittman, Wyatt Pittman and Bree Godlock; her great great grandchild Lucas James Earl Schroeder; and her friend Doris.
