It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrel Rivenbark of Wallace, North Carolina, born in Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey "Buddy" Lee Rivenbark, Jr. and Ruby J. Henderson Rivenbark Smith; his sister Sandra Ilene Wait; and his grandson Jeffery Ross Austin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rivenbark; his children, Alicia Young (Thomas), Joy Allen (Jason), Lee Rivenbark (Danielle) and Ben Rivenbark; his grandchildren, Tommy, Macey, Cameron, Avery, Jacob, Caroline, Ethan, Scott, Isaac, Eli, Luke, Sam, Hailey and Matthew; his brother Dannie Rivenbark (Patsy); his brother-in-law Danny Wait (Teresa); and his pet Jack.
