With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudia Lynnette Rockwood (Wallace, North Carolina), who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Watson Merritt and Sarah Yvonne Boone Merritt of Rose Hill, NC.; her husband Howard A. "Rocky" Rockwood; and her brother Thomas Jefferson Merritt. She is survived by: her brothers, Steve Merritt (Lisa) of Winchester, VA and Chris Merritt (Marsha) of Fuquay-Varina; her son Jefferson "Eric" Waters; her grandchild Jannia; her daughter Melissa Lynn Del Bosque (David) of Floresville, TX; her grandchildren, Tamara Waters (FItzhugh), Jeffrey Waters, Jerami Amra, Rajah Amra, Michael Amra, Kiranna Steinberg and Sarah Rivera; her daughter Rosemary Rockwood; and her grandchildren, Amber Peterson Austin, George "Buddy" Carter and Catherine "Cat" Carter (Clark).
