It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Murphy of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Murphy and Annie Pearl Murphy; his son Lee Murphy; and his brother Stanley Young. He is survived by: his children, Anthony T., Shawn C. Murphy and Nyla Murphy of Kentucky; his siblings, Evelyn Hobbs, Prentice Murphy, Millard Murphy and Michael Lee; and his grandchildren, Delonte Murphy, Christopher Murphy Jr., Marquis Murphy, Darius Monroe, Samaria Daughtry and Asia Carr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
