She is survived by: her children, Kim D Cherry and Michael Defelici; her grandchildren, William Cherry IV (Jennifer) and Lauren Cherry Martinez (Juan); her great grandchildren, William Cherry V, Lilly Martinez and Olivia Cherry; her sister Patricia Lanier; her sister-in-law Frances Sholar; and her foster brother Ivey Summerlin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
