He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Lillie Mae Blanton; his wife Jane Blanton; and his siblings, Judy Chestnutt and James Earl Blanton (Pee Wee).
He is survived by: his daughter SuLynn Specht (Tim); his grandchildren, Andy, Allison, Matthew and Samuel; his daughter LeAnn Evans (Gene); his grandchildren, Joshua and Megan; his sister Linda Kuhn (Jerry); and also Theo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members and good friends.
