It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Lane (Walkertown, North Carolina), who passed away on February 10, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Calvin and Maudie Whitehead Hitson; her children, Susan "Susie" Lynn Lane and Jacob Thomas "Tom" Lane, Jr.; her grandson Jason Roderick Birchfield; her brothers, Howard, William, Keith, Alfred, Eugene and Raymond Hitson; her husband Lane, Sr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Ruth Browning (Rex), Cynthia Dian Birchfield Lane, Emily Bowman and Katie Sparks; her grandchildren, Travis Birchfield, Tommy Sparks (Jennifer), Timmy Browning, Rachel Browning, Samuel Bowman (Casey), Sarah Jo Davis (Ron) and Jacob Bowman; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Halsey, Alyssa Sparks, Jeremiah Davis, Reagan Davis, Tucker Bowman, Tate Bowman, Paityn Brown, Paxton Browning and Charleigh Jo Conley. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
