She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Ellen Martin and Thomas Earle Elliott; her husband Joseph Vanhoy; and her siblings, Linda Elliott Sprinkle and Harold Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Joyce (Harold) of Palmetto, FL and Jennifer Richardson (Joe) of Winston-Salem, NC; her sister-in-law Peggy Elliott; her friend Phyllis (Larry Rumple); and her cousin Jane Scott (Nancy) of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by extended family; and many dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 5696 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051.
