With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maudessa Mae Hardaway Linville (Walkertown, North Carolina), who passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Walker Jessie Hardaway (Pete); and her siblings, Loren Hardaway, Warren Hardaway, Florence Wells, Velma McBee Emberton, Ruth Flinn, Jaunita Hayes and Euvonne Aaron.
She is survived by: her parent Fannie Isabell Marrs; her spouse Byron W. Linville; her sons, Michael (Mary) and Daniel (Rita); her brother Dean Hardaway (Joyce); her children, Greg Linville (Julie), Tracy Scott (Don) and Lauren Linville; and her daughter-in-law Mary. She is also survived by children and a host of Hardaway related nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, she asked that memorials be made to Morris Chapel organizations/projects (Children Ministries, Nurturing Fund, etc.), Boy Scouts or your favorite charity benefiting children and elderly – she always liked helping others.
