He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monroe and Euna McClaugherty; and his siblings, Clydis Neely and Darius McClaugherty. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, John Jr. (Melodie) and Samantha (John Elliott Woltz, Jr.); and his brothers, Dale, Dennis, James and Mike McClaugherty. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
