She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Falske and Joan Falske; her husband Raymond Wasser; her grandson Michael Meyer; her sons, Joseph Meyer (Deborah), James Meyer (Jill) and Jeffery Meyer; her stepchildren, Raymond Wasser Jr., Georgine Wasser and Mary Kelly; her sister Marilyn Young; her cousin Doris Pearson; and her grandchildren, Patti-Jo Daniels, Joseph James Meyer, Patricia Penrod, Christopher Penrod, Amber Carey, Bradley Meyer and Chase Meyer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be given to ASPCA as Virginia loved animals (she was especially fond of cats).
