She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ellington and Addie Privette Ellington (Harvey Goodwin); and her brother Richard "Dick" Ellington (Roy Mitchell). She is survived by: her husband Harvey J. Goodwin; her daughter Donna Hartlaub (Mitch) of Wilmington; her siblings, Bob Ellington of Wake Forest and Jean Barham (Lee) of Youngsville; her granddaughter Lauren Hartlaub; her brother Nick; her granddaughter Casey Hartlaub of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Lillian "Lilly" and Benjamin "Ben"; and also Sharon Larson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Life Care (Hospice) in Wilmington, NC, Rolesville Baptist Church, or Charlotte Cocker Rescue in Charlotte, NC.
