She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Powell Gupton; her mother Annie Mae Perry Lloyd; her stepfathers, George Jeffreys, Sr. and Claude Lloyd; and her siblings, George Jeffreys, Jr., Florine "Jo" Strickland, Margie Finch, Jeanette Vick and Faye Radford.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Gupton (Angie) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Brooke Garrett (Jonathan) of Franklinton and Grant Gupton of Raleigh. She is also survived by her extended family and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616.
