With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell E Niemi (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosalie Niemi; his daughters, Wendy Niemi Kremer (Ian) of Herndon, Virginia and Gloria Niemi Bowden (Scott) of Park City; his grandson Lucas Kremer of Herndon; his sisters-in-law, Harriett Lindstrom of Downer's Grove and Marlene Morrison (Lester) of Macomb; his parents, Oiva Niemi and Irene Niemi; and his sisters, Marlynn and Judy. He was also cherished by six nieces, their spouses and several great-nieces and nephews.
