He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCook and Vienna Smith McCook; and his brothers, Frank, Danny and Buddy McCook.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Eury McCook; his daughter Abigail McCook; his stepdaughters, Heather Martin of Wake Forest, Katrina Brooks (Danny) of Lewisville and Trudy Robertson of Wendell; and his sister Robbie Crowle of Waycross, Georgia.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home (1051 Durham Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
