With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard William Boes (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Jacob Boes and Gertrude Therese Kessler Boes; and his wife Mary Ann Janosik Boes. He is survived by: his pets, Patches, Blackie, Cinder, Boots, Goldie, Charlie and Akita; his brother Altar Boy (Soldier); his sons, Chris Boes and Dr. Jonathan Boes (Aimee) of Raleigh; and his granddaughters, Carolyn Mary Boes of Houma, LA, Kathryn Elisabeth Boes of Houma, LA, Elizabeth Corinne Boes of Raleigh and Emilia Annamaria Boes (family: Helen Winkelmann) of Raleigh. He is also survived by sister-in-law and her family.
