Peter Gianoukas Obituary

Peter Gianoukas, 78, of Wake Forest, NC, died at home peacefully on 8/28/2023.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1945 to James and Angelina Gianoukas. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a talented runner in his youth and enjoyed many sports. Since retiring to Wake Forest his favorite things to do were spending time with his grandkids and caring for his dog, Coco.

Peter was preceded in death by his son, James Gianoukas and sister, Marissa Batalias. He is survived by his wife, Doris Gianoukas, daughter, Kristin Edwards, son, Evan Gianoukas and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to perfectly imperfect pups (pipsrescue.org) would be greatly appreciated by the family as Peter had a deep love for animals in need.
