She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Lee Alford and Oza Mingie; her husband Lewis Joseph Davis of Wake Forest; and her daughter Suzanne Davis Tull of Tallahassee, Florida.. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Davis Rackley (Pete) of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Jim Tull, Elizabeth Amrhein (Kevin), Meredith Stoddard (Eric) and Peter "Joe" Rackley (Jodie); her great grandchildren, Everly Amrhein, Kip, Wolf Stoddard, Ella and Axel Rackley; and her caregivers, Doris Carter, Shanna Gilliam and Joyce Habude. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glen Royal Baptist Church (731 Elizabeth Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wake Forest Cemetery (400 N White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
