It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph E. Kenney (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Goose Creek, South Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pauline Elizabeth Adams and Christopher Joseph Kenney; his wife Kathy Small Kenney; his daughters, Ashley and Lauren; his sons-in-law, Charlie Lewis and Josh DiDonato; his grandchildren, Hadley Rose Lewis and Graham Everette Lewis; his siblings, Robert Kenney (Carla), Kim Sloan (Jim) and Toni Hardin (David); his mother-in-law Julia Leary Small Elmore; and his sister-in-law Susan Small Shimmel. He was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wake Forest Baptist Church or The Myositis Association.
