He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen McElligott (Gallagher) and Lawrence McElligott; his wife Mary Jean McFarland (Mickey); his daughters, Terri Bogert (Michael) of Oakton, VA, Susan McElligott (Drew McKay) of Lewes, DE and Julie McElligott (Steve Hauser) of Raleigh, NC; and his grandchildren, Kate, Jack Bogert, Nick, John McKay and Genny Hauser.
