He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Avery; his daughters, Alicee Van Dorp (Dirk) and Candace Sherrod (John); his siblings, Jae (Roberta), Ken and Sharon; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Feilen (Kristy), John Sherrod (Ashley), Robert Campbell (Yana), Heather Jackson (Nahshon), Jimmie Sherrod (April), Alex Campbell, Andrew Van Dorp (Alex), Brittanie New (Zach) and Thomas Van Dorp; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Addison, Brooklynn, Riley, Jimmie, Coen and Beau.
