We bid farewell to Jim L. Shaddix (Wake Forest, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 1, 2025 at the age of 64. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Debra G. Shaddix (Joyner); his children, Dallys Ruschmyer (Phillip), Clint Shaddix (Jamie) and Shane Shaddix (Alicia); his parents, Julian Shaddix and Betty Shaddix; his siblings, Tom Shaddix (Cindy) and Joy Youngblood (Jay); and his grandchildren, Jackson, Avery, Ezra, Jade, Mercy, Payton, Judson Shaddix, Titus, Boston, Xander, Mazlow, Remi Grace and Crosby Ruschmyer.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Binkley Chapel at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (120 S Wingate St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Jacumin-Simpson Missions Building at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (112 South Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778).
In lieu of floral tributes, any donations may be made to The Pastor's Center at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
