He was predeceased by: his parents, James Somerville and Mary Caroline Buddo. He is survived by: his wife Marion Gioffre Buddo; his sons, Robert J. (Elizabeth Dean Buddo) of Charlotte, NC, J. Christopher (Mary Barnicle Buddo) of Greenville, NC and James Somerville III (Michele Naujoks Buddo) of Wake Forest, NC.; and his sister Mary Carole (Scott Riley) of Seattle. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (520 W Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens (770 Stadium Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
