He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Barton and Nervie Harrison Barton. He is survived by: his wife Edna Lindsey Barton; his sons, Ricky Barton (Kim), David Barton (Cathy) and Robert Barton (Tammy); his sister Ellen Caudill of Cleveland, VA; his sister-in-law Vickie Barton of Haysi, VA; and his close friend Joe Owens of Council, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
