She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. E. A. Sigrest and Mrs Myrtle Sigrest; her brothers, Dr. Marion "Sonny" Sigrest and Robert "Bob" Sigrest; and her half-siblings, E. A. Sigrest Jr., JB Sigrest and Norrine Nealy.

She is survived by: her husband Rudy; her daughter Amy Spraker (Greg); her grandchildren, Jack, Thomas and Will; her children, Reed Abernathy (Debbie) and Layne; her grandsons, Scott (Jamie) and Jason; her sons, Greg Abernathy and Scott King (April); and her granddaughter Jada.
