With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George William Loy (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George William Loy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilgar Loy and Anna Elizabeth Norris; and his sister Becky Loy Lowery. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Layton Loy; his children, Todd Loy (Melissa) of Lansing, NC, Brian Loy (Patti) of Louisburg, NC, Vicki Boone Fenstermaker (Rob) of St. Marys, GA and Vence Boone (Stacey) of Youngsville, NC; and his granddaughters, Haley Boone, Catie Fenstermaker and Emily Fenstermaker.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens (770 Stadium Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's honor to Paws for Life http://www.pawsforlifenc.org or PBS North Carolina https://www.pbsnc.org graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens with Don King officiating, 770 Stadium Dr. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
