He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughters, Amy Mackie (Joshua), Alison Hurst (Frank) and Ashland Brown (Kent); his grandchildren, Noah, James, George, Pace, Julia, Rachel, Jill, Samuel and Jacob; his brother James Mackie; his brother-in-law Fred Lee Hunt, Jr. (Gloria); and his nieces, Jennifer Hunt (Rick Burch), Jane Mackie and Linda Mackie.
