Gary James Mikkola Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary James Mikkola (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne and Anne (Anna); and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his sons, Jeremy and Nathaniel; his daughter-in-law Audrey; his grandson Benjamin; his sister-in-law Peggy; his nieces, Jennifer and Amy; and his great-nieces, Emily and Evelyn.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Depot Room of Alliance Bible Fellowship (1035 S North Carolina Hwy 58, Nashville, NC 27856).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, an organization close to Gary's heart.
