It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Stroud (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hettie S. Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Guylene Hill Stroud; his son Donald G. Stroud, Jr. (Mary Lawrence) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Garrett Stroud (Clayton Whetung) of San Francisco, California, Hillary Rose Stroud of Chapel Hill and Benjamin Forrest Stroud of Greensboro; his sister Nancy M. Puckett; and his nieces, Joye Cameron and Karen Bowes. He is also survived by father and grandfather, "D" to his grandchildren.
