He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac Kelley and Myrtle Kelley; and his siblings, James, Ray, Bill, Hart, Jack, Esther Bateman and Carol Ann Lovett.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Kelley; his daughters, Angie Harris (Mike) of Wake Forest and Arlene Foster of Raleigh; his great grandchild Michelle (Michael); his brother Roger Kelly (Betty) of Crenshaw, MS; his friend Eddie Freeman; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Hudson of Youngsville and Ann Hudson of Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
