“"Alfie" was one of our dearest friends since we moved to North Carolina. She was a wonderful, strong woman, who was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. She was a key member of our small group known as "the Train Gang" that took trips to the mountains together and celebrated each others birthdays with a dinner out. She will be greatly missed Our condolences to the family and especially her daughter Susan who took such devoted care of her. Stan and Margaret Jasinski”
