She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Bissell Stanton and Margaret Dees Stanton; her husband Bill Hunnicutt; her former husband Paul Judson Smith, Sr.; her close friend Mike Tippett; and her brother-in-law Wayne Grainger.
She is survived by: her children, Paul "Judson" Smith, Jr. of Wagram, Kimberly Smith Alford (Dale Alford) of Zebulon and Josh Wrenn; her siblings, James "Jim" Stanton (Nancy) of Laurinburg, Sarah Stanton Young (Jimmy) of Zebulon and Patricia Stanton Grainger of Aynor, SC; and also Billy Hunnicutt. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
Family will receive friends following the service with COVID-19 restrictions.
The family requests in lieu of flowers for memorial donations to be given to the American Heart Association, American Kidney Foundation, Old Shallotte Baptist Church, or the charity of one's choice.
