Verda Smith Laviner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verda Smith Laviner of Wagram, North Carolina, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtland Smith and Grace Moser Smith; her husband Lonnie Benford Laviner, Sr.; and her sister Barbara Hinson. She is survived by: her children, Lonnie B. "Benny" Laviner, Jr. of Wagram, Marshall Andrew "Andy" Laviner (Christine) of Lynchburg, VA and Barbara Laviner Hairr (Robert) of Marston; her brother Burton Smith of San Jose, CA; and her grandchildren, Jessica Trehan, Haley Gawron, Lonnie B. "Ben" Laviner III, Sarah Laviner, Margaret Laviner, Shana Griph and Athena Griph. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
