We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2023, at the age of 75, Peggy Jean Smith of Wagram, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Wilkes and Ruth Ester Wright Wilkes. She is survived by: her husband John F. Smith; her daughter Tammy Bryant (Allen) of Laurel Hill; and her brothers, Jimmy Wilkes of Virginia Beach, VA and Dan Thomas Wilkes of Laurinburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, along with her loving extended family.

The family requests memorials donations be given to Scotland Regional Hospice, P. O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
