He is survived by: his parent Zela Mae Dial; his wife Pauline Mims Dial; his children, Jerry Wayne Dial, McKinnley "Mack" Dial, Michael Randolph Dial of Winston Salem, Jeffrey Lee "Pa" Dial of Laurel Hill, Gertha Denise Dial of Maxton, Brenda Lee Dial of Laurinburg and Zela Mae Dial of Wagram; and his siblings, Nelson Dial of Pembroke, Cornelius Dial, Carolyn Smith, Sylvia Chavis, Lottie Chavis, Miriam Dial Locklear, Patricia Bell "Dook" Martin, Sue Bell Lewis and Janifer Shoemake of Florida. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
