He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Dutch and Douglas Sheppard; and his brother Earnest Wayne Sheppard. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Craig Sheppard of Laurinburg, NC, Joseph Aaron Sheppard of Laurinburg, NC, Prentiss Cody Sheppard (Ashli) of Chesterfield, SC and Pamela Sheppard Hill of Southern Pines, NC; his sisters, Patricia Bean of Laurinburg, NC and Deborah Sheppard of Laurel Hill, NC; and his close friend Sherry Meeks of Laurinburg, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
