He is survived by: his parents, William Gray Whitt and Clara Inez Horne Whitt; his siblings, William M. Whitt (Victoria) of Rockingham, Doug Whitt, Craig Gray Whitt, Jane "Sissy" Cooley (James) of Wagram and Ellen Futrell (Philip) of Wagram; and his nephews, Will Futrell and Waylon Cooley of Wagram.
