It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Chavis of Wagram, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior "Fuzzy" Chavis and Nove Jo Chavis; and his siblings, Randy Chavis and Mable Chavis. He is survived by: his wife Sallie Locklear Chavis; his sons, William Chavis (Rhonda) of Maxton and Ronnie Chavis (Tasha) of Wagram; his siblings, James Chavis of Rowland, Ronald Chavis of Rowland, Dennis Chavis of Rowland, Charles Chavis of Rowland, Tammy Chavis of Rowland, Freida Chavis of Rowland and Carolyn Chavis of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Brooke Chavis, William Locklear, Joshua Chavis and Hanna Chavis; and his great grandchildren, Angel Chavis, Serenity Chavis, William Locklear, Jr., Anna Rose Locklear and Madisyn Locklear. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
