He is survived by: his wife Gail Varian Marteny; his children, Andrea Johnson (Matthew) of Des Moines, IA and Nicholas Adam Marteny; his sister Heidi Miller of Scio, OH; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Riley, Braedan and Alexis.
