He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wilson Harrington and Ollie Pearl Gathings Harrington; his wife Betty Parrish Harrington; and his sister Myrtise Seawell. He is survived by: his daughters, Esta Stroud (Craig) of Rockingham and Brenda Carpenter of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Bryan Tucker (Stephanie) of Morven, Scott Tucker of Rockingham, Jeff Carpenter (Love) of Marshville and Lorie Schnierlein of Wadesboro; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Tucker (Holly), Peyton Tucker, Noah Tucker, Logan Tucker, Walker Carpenter, Hannah Harward, Jordan Schnierlein and Kendal Schnierlein.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Anson Community Hospice, a Division of Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US-1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
