He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vernon Wright and Lula Kiker Wright; his wife Juanita Smith Wright; and his siblings, Judy High, Margie Burr, Louise Wright and Johnny Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Danny R. Wright, Sandy Wright Evans (Tony) of Ruby, SC, Anthony Taylor (Sarah) of Peachland, Brian Taylor of Peachland, Danielle McAllister (Franklin) of Wadesboro, Addison, Skye, Easton, Mason and Ruby Watkins (Sam) of West Virginia.
Graveside services will be private due to COVID 19.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 5964 NC-218, Peachland, NC 28133.
