She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Henry Covington and Mamie Guin Covington; her husband John Wiggins; her siblings, Elizabeth Covington Allen (Fred), J. T. Covington, Nathan Covington (Sarah) and Haywood Covington; her children, Beneal Thomas Wiggins and Mamie Wiggins Little; and her granddaughter Deborah Wall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mildred Wiggins Sturdivant and Carol Wiggins Ford (Charles); her grandchildren, Elder Reginald Sturdivant (Ruthie), Jeffrey Beneal Little (Kelli), Timothy Beneal Allen, Donna Marshall (Kenny), Toye Spencer Wall, Keisha Little, Katrice Wiggins Perdue, Crystal Wiggins Brice, Ashley Little Perry (David) and Margaret Polk; her stepgrandson Charles Huntley Ford, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Daisy Sturdivant Covington and Tressie Bennett Covington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
