Sturdivant Rorie; his children, Avis Trenise Rorie and Sonya Yvette Rorie; his wife Helen Conrad Rorie of Wadesboro, NC; his son Vernice Lee Rorie, Jr. (Katavia) of Indian Trail, NC; his grandchildren, Vernice L. Rorie, III, Jarrell Smith, Tavion Rorie, Kameron Rorie, Silas Rorie and Helen McRoyal; his siblings, Dianne S. Rorie of Peachland, NC, Emma J. Smith and Delane Rorie (Linda) of Greenville, SC.; his aunt Alice Faulkner of Marshville, NC; his great-aunt Adeline Warren of Polkton, NC; and his uncle Jack Buchanon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
