She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Melton and Mary Helen Deese Melton. She is survived by: her daughters, Misty Johnson-Streater of Polkton and Crystal Gayle Johnson of Peachland; her granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Streater of Wadesboro, Brittney Lee Streater of Polkton, Emma Bland Streater of Polkton and Aleah Jordan Baucom of Peachland; her great grandchild Carter Grey Cunningham; her granddaughters, Maltipoo and Laya; and her brothers, Michael Melton (Sharen) of Whispering Pines, Ray "Al" Melton (Carol) of Laurinburg and Richard "Fireball" Melton (Alicia) of Polkton. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
