She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strickland and Lessie Strickland; and her children, Alvin Crump and Anita Crump. She is survived by: her son Kenneth Crump (Patricia); her grandchildren, Shiffon Crump of Wadesboro, Zaria Crump of Dallas, Texas and Kenneth Leak of Wadesboro; her stepdaughter Debbye Crump; her uncle Dr. Robert Lindsey of New York; her nieces and nephews, Tracey Teal, Wendy Morris and Wilfred Turner; her cousins, Glenda Morrison and Leola Clark; and her close friends, Lannie Robinson and Catherine Pickett. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and many friends.
