She is survived by: her son John Derek Byrd; and her sisters, Elsie M. White of Polkton and Irene Ledbetter of Charlotte. She is also survived by family; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home (604 Salisbury St, Wadesboro, NC 28170). Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith's Memorial Chapel (604 Salisbury St, Wadesboro, NC 28170). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home (604 Salisbury St, Wadesboro, NC 28170).
