She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Davidson Wood and Sara Hancock Wood; her husband James Lewis Brown; her son John Edward Brown; her grandsons, James Jefferson Brown, III and Johnathon White; and her son-in-law Rick Cassidy.
She is survived by: her children, James Jefferson Brown, II (Karen), Timothy Brown, Frank Brown, Janice Cassidy, Jacqueline Harris (Phil), Judy Cook (Doug) and Mary Ann Preslar (Jeff). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
