He is survived by: his daughters, Rebekah Carpenter (Jesse) of Polkton and Kayla Carpenter (Richard) of Wadesboro; his stepdaughter JoAnna Hale (Serge) of Zebulon; and his grandchildren, Keelee, Harmony, Harvey, Olivia and Isaiah.
