She was predeceased by: her parents, Abby Alexander Cauble and Bessie Viola Swaringen; her husband Emmitte Rorie; and her siblings, Fred Cauble, Randle Cauble, Vera Faggart, Virginia Faggart, Gladys Allen and Kaye DeRoche.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Rorie (Dianne) of Morristown, TN, Gerald Rorie (Deborah) of Wadesboro and David Rorie (Ann) of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Brent Rorie (Danielle) of Georgetown, KY, Angie Dutton (Scott) of Polkton, Laruen Rorie of Charlotte, Melissa Rorie of Kernersville, Sally McAtteer (Justin) of Monroe, Mary Anne Ray of Morristown, TN, Cory Davis (Melissa) of Wadesboro and Christy Burch (Mike) of Wadesboro; and her sister Hilda Stock of St. Louis, MO.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
